Companies in the cluster are finding new employees at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU). Students starting off as student workers, interns or in project-based roles in robotics, automation and drone companies find themselves with full-time employment upon graduation. Odense Robotics talked to Lorenz Technology, Inwatec and B&R Industrial Automation - three cluster companies eager to employ former student workers.

SYD Dynamics is developing new technology. The company has been developing precise positioning and navigation technology for mobile robots and drones through the innovation programme “Digital Omstilling – Innovationssamarbejder”, run by Business Hub Fyn and Odense Robotics. The new navigation tech delivers safe, reliable and cost-effective navigation for intelligent transport.

Cluster companies scoop awards at European Robotics Forum

Last week several cluster companies won awards at Europe’s largest and most influential robotics meeting, the European Robotics Forum 2020. Blue Ocean Robotics, UVD Robots and Odense University Hospital won the euRobotics Technology Transfer Award, while Aim Robotics and Coalescent Mobile Robotics came in second and fourth for the Entrepreneur Award.

The launch of Denmark's first national robotics strategy
The Danish Government launched Denmark’s first national robotics strategy on Monday, 24 February 2020. Focusing on 11 areas including science, education, international collaboration and the green transition, the strategy describes the benefits of applying robotics, automation and drones now and in the future.
