In a couple of months, Odense Robotics and UAS Denmark will team up with Innovation Network RoboCluster. The new partnership has received a two-year grant from the Ministry of Higher Education and Science to increase growth and productivity through robot technology.

The national innovation network RoboCluster has been given a 12 million DKK two-year grant to strengthen science, innovation and application within robot, automation and drone technology in Denmark. From December 2018, Odense Robotics will join Innovation Network RoboCluster, the largest innovation network within robot technology in Denmark. Also joining the network is UAS Denmark, the national network of drone companies in charge of managing the national drone test center at Hans Christian Andersen Airport in Odense.

With the addition of Odense Robotics and UAS Denmark, both Developing Fyn clusters, the robotics and automation ecosystem on Funen as well as the entire drone industry in Denmark will be added to the national innovation network.

“We have great expectations for the new collaboration. Many of our cluster companies stem from universities and colleges, where their ideas originated. By joining forces with Innovation Network RoboCluster, UAS Denmark and not least knowledge institutions, we will have even more opportunities to help the companies in our ecosystem collaborate and innovate more closely with these organisations,” Mikkel Christoffersen, Business Manager at Odense Robotics.

Does your Industry 4.0 development need a boost? Then now is your chance. Join the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), Odense Robotics and Væksthus Syddanmark on 7 November for a taste of what is in store when SDU opens its new Industry 4.0 LAB early next year.

SDU’s brand new Industry 4.0 LAB will give your company access to scientists and the latest technologies. On 7 November, SDU in collaboration with Odense Robotics and Væksthus Syddanmark invites you to ”Digital solutions from the real world”, an event designed for companies ready for Industry 4.0 and eager to check out opportunities for creating growth in collaboration with knowledge institutions.

”This event is a terrific opportunity for companies that want to get started with Industry 4.0 and innovation within digitalisation - but like many others are struggling to get started. You will be able to listen to experts and companies who have started their Industry 4.0 journey. I highly recommend joining this afternoon event, which is sure to highlight the benefits of businesses joining forces with knowledge institutions,“ says Peter Falk, Business Developer at Odense Robotics.
RoboSupply - creating value through strategic partnerships
Do you actually know what your customers’ needs are? Not just now but what they will be in the future? And do you have the resources and skills to assist these needs? On 22 November Odense Robotics will host its first ever conference focused entirely on supply chain management in the robot and automation industry.

In a future devoted to Industry 4.0, transparency, value creation, integration and collaboration will be key. At Odense Robotics’ one-day conference, RoboSupply ’18, suppliers and supply chain professionals will gain deep insight into where the supply chains in the robot and automation industry are heading, as well as the needs amongst startups, scaleups and established companies in the business.

“RoboSupply will give participants a unique look into supply chains in both young, growing and mature robotics companies, and what’s important to their managers. As a robo supply chain professional, you can find the inspiration and network that can help you improve your own performance. As a supplier for the robotics industry, you can gain insights into how you can create more value for your customers. It will also be a great opportunity to expand your professional network,” says Søren Aarhus, Supply Chain Business Developer at Odense Robotics.
