In a couple of months, Odense Robotics and UAS Denmark will team up with Innovation Network RoboCluster. The new partnership has received a two-year grant from the Ministry of Higher Education and Science to increase growth and productivity through robot technology.
The national innovation network RoboCluster has been given a 12 million DKK two-year grant to strengthen science, innovation and application within robot, automation and drone technology in Denmark. From December 2018, Odense Robotics will join Innovation Network RoboCluster, the largest innovation network within robot technology in Denmark. Also joining the network is UAS Denmark, the national network of drone companies in charge of managing the national drone test center at Hans Christian Andersen Airport in Odense.
With the addition of Odense Robotics and UAS Denmark, both Developing Fyn clusters, the robotics and automation ecosystem on Funen as well as the entire drone industry in Denmark will be added to the national innovation network.
“We have great expectations for the new collaboration. Many of our cluster companies stem from universities and colleges, where their ideas originated. By joining forces with Innovation Network RoboCluster, UAS Denmark and not least knowledge institutions, we will have even more opportunities to help the companies in our ecosystem collaborate and innovate more closely with these organisations,” Mikkel Christoffersen, Business Manager at Odense Robotics.
