Robotics Alliance launched today

Odense Robotics is part of a national robotics partnership launched today. Robotics Alliance aims to create an even stronger platform for realising growth opportunities within robotics and automation across Denmark. In addition, Odense Robotics is consolidating with other industry partners as part of efforts to offer even better support to the robotics, automation and drone industry.

Today, industry organisations from across Denmark announced that they are joining forces in Robotics Alliance to provide companies with the best possible conditions for growth. The national partnership comprises Odense Robotics, RoboCluster, UAS Denmark and Sønderborg Vækstråd – with more partners expected to follow. The partnership is also supported by BrainsBusiness from Aalborg. Robotics Alliance aims to create a simpler, stronger and more focused way of offering public support to the robot, automation and drone industry.

A new network for all CEOs in the cluster is set to kick off in April. The initiative will bring together all CEOs and managing directors from the 129 robotics, automation and drone cluster companies on Funen.

The first meeting for the entire new CEO Network kicks off on 26 April at Fyns Væddeløbsbane, where all the CEOs from the cluster’s 129 companies are invited. The CEO Network will focus on how to maintain the cluster’s success and how to create even more growth, innovation and collaboration amongst companies in Odense Robotics.

In a move set to increase job applicants, Workindenmark, Jobservice Danmark and Rekrutteringsservice Fyn will now actively screen potential applicants for open positions in Odense Robotics Job Bank.

Upload your job listings to the Odense Robotics Job Bank and external organisations will strive to find qualified candidates to apply. This new approach from the three recruitment organisations Workindenmark, Jobservice Danmark and Rekrutteringsservice Fyn is expected to increase the number of qualified applicants. From now on, every time a position is posted on the Odense Robotics Job Bank, the three organisations will make direct contact with qualified candidates in Denmark and abroad and encourage them to apply.

Meet Igor Neves Caser, Mechanical Engineer at Blue Ocean Robotics
“It’s a really international company. When you go for lunch it feels like a United Nations reunion,” jokes Igor Neves Caser, Mechanical Engineer at Blue Ocean Robotics.

Igor has swapped his home town in Brazil for Odense and loves his job, where he designs mechanical parts and integration in robots. “Every day you work on something that’s never been done before, so you need to figure out how to solve new problems. We design robots to improve people’s quality of life,” says Igor.

One of the first technologies he worked with at Blue Ocean Robotics was the UV disinfection robot, which reduces bacteria and viruses at hospitals. Now he is working on the company’s Multi-Tower Robot, designed to lift patients in hospitals.
